We started with a good eye and a problem
Every bandana we found was either flimsy, drab, or both. So we made our own — with sturdy natural cotton, interesting designs, and illustrations pulled from vintage books most people have never seen.
That was the whole idea, honestly. Find beautiful things that are gathering dust in rare book collections and antique shops, and give them a second life as something you can tie around your neck or toss in your bag.
It started with bandanas in a tiny garage. Now we're in an office in historic downtown Portland with five full product lines — which still feels a bit surreal, if we're being honest.

Where We Are
Portland, Maine
We're based in downtown Portland — a small city with an unreasonable number of good bookstores, antique shops, and restaurants per capita. It's the right place for what we do.
We draw a lot of inspiration from what's around us. The old harbor, the brick buildings, the general vibe of a place that respects things with a little history to them.
